This explains what SwimHub collects, why, and what happens to it.

Automatically
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data.
Two services hold your data on our behalf:
Public — visible to other SwimHub users:
Private — only you can see it:
Text you post is checked automatically for offensive language before it is stored. This is an automated filter and it sometimes gets things wrong — if it refuses something it should not have, email us.
Photos are not scanned automatically. They are reviewed if someone reports them.
When someone reports content, we keep a copy of that content as it was at the time of the report, even if it is later deleted. This is so we can review it and act on repeated behaviour. These records are kept for up to 90 days after a report is resolved.
You can delete your account from the Account screen. This removes your profile, posts, comments, replies, photos, likes, follows, workouts and journal entries — including the image files themselves, not just the posts that showed them.
One exception: if your content was reported, the record of that report may be kept for up to 90 days after it was resolved, as described above. We keep it so a pattern of behaviour cannot be erased by deleting an account.
SwimHub is not directed at children under 13, and under-13 accounts cannot post to the public feed, comment, or reply.
If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your data. Email us and we will help.
Your data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not store passwords ourselves — sign-in is handled by Firebase.
If we change this policy in a significant way we will let you know in the app.
